You can grow a lot of things in a children's garden - fruits and vegetables, herbs and flowers, shrubs and trees. You can also grow a child's confidence, their sense of joy and wonder along with lifelong hobbies, perhaps even a future job or career.

A garden at every school and youth organization in Rhode Island by 2010 will ensure that every child in every community can have these same life-affirming experiences and opportunities.
