We are the first urban eco-friendly park in Providence. Our children's garden is envisioned as a place to touch, feel and promote sensory integration with nature.

We are going to wrap a living willow tunnel around the garden as resources allow.

The landscape we are creating is a magical, community space bridging the areas of Mt. Hope, the East Side of Providence and University Heights.

We have the following challenges:

-ad hoc donations from nurseries but no major, reliable donor
-an interest in native species and year-round interest
-an interest in community participation including the children at the Mount Hope Learning Center
