Our goal is to develop and maintain a year-round gardening program for our K12 school. Our food service director has promised us a salad bar in the cafeteria if we supply the greens. We have begun raising funds for a greenhouse and have $1600.00 thus far. With the help of a parent who is a landscape architect, we have designed a shade garden with paths and benches. We have started modestly with s small flower bed and a vegetable garden which yielded tomatoes, lettuce, carrots, pumpkins and brussel sprouts last fall. We would like to align some of our science curriculum with our garden program.
