This garden was started thru a grant from the URI Master Gardeners Association.

It consists of a perennial garden in front of the school. It is not currently being maintained as the grant has run out.

As an Americorps member who just began working in the school as a "green mentor", I hope to revive the "Urban Gardeners Club" by integrating it into a more far-reaching and permanent green initiative at the school.
