Before recruiting anyone for your garden team, have a discussion.

  1. What will your garden team/organization do? Be responsible for? Over what period of time?
  2. What skills do you think you will need to run a successful garden education program?
  3. Who should fill those jobs?
  4. How will you develop a plan, strategies and a budget?
  5. How will you assign tasks and responsibilities and develop timelines and benchmarks for success?
  6. How will you identify needs and resources?
  7. Who will raise your funds?
  8. And...

Once you have a better sense of what your garden team will do, it's time to find the people who can help.
