Before recruiting anyone for your garden team, have a discussion.
- What will your garden team/organization do? Be responsible for? Over what period of time?
- What skills do you think you will need to run a successful garden education program?
- Who should fill those jobs?
- How will you develop a plan, strategies and a budget?
- How will you assign tasks and responsibilities and develop timelines and benchmarks for success?
- How will you identify needs and resources?
- Who will raise your funds?
- And...
Once you have a better sense of what your garden team will do, it's time to find the people who can help.
