The Network assists communities to grow sustainable year-round garden education programs at Rhode Island schools and youth organizations. But that's just the beginning.
Since 2007, the Children’s Garden Network (CGN) has been providing training and hands-on support to connect children to nature, encourage exercise and healthier eating, and inspire lifelong interests, jobs and careers. Recently, “a garden at every school” was recognized as one of the Top Ten ideas for America’s future. We couldn’t agree more!
This year’s CGN Campaign is engaging teachers, administrators, school food service companies and community leaders to ensure that every school and youth organization is garden-ready. Please join us to support this important cause!
