Who should be invited? Teachers, administrators, parents, interested community members, PTO members, local gardeners and landscapers, and...

What happens at the meeting? Identify interests, assets and needs, explore ideas, assign tasks, and...

Schedule the next three months of meetings and try to meet at least once a month or more frequently if possible. This will build momentum and interest.

• Create a sample best case year-long calendar of meetings and garden activities that takes into account the school calendar and the growing season.
• In three months or sooner, establish a goal of a garden education program at your school or youth organizations by a specific date (e.g. End of school year, beginning of school year, a perticular day of a particular month, e.g.). Make that your target. It helps to focus everyone's attention.
