Children’s Gardens

It Starts Here
The local food system. Children’s Health. Education about nature and the environment. Future hobbies, jobs and careers in agriculture, horticulture, and the natural sciences.

And don’t forget how gardens inspire writing and music and art and just having fun, getting exercise in the great outdoors, digging in the soil, planting something and watching it grow while beautifying classrooms, schools, communities and whole towns.

The Children’s Garden Network is starting its fifth year helping kids, parents, teachers, administrators, gardeners and community members to start and grow sustainable garden programs – and we can help you too!

Work with us to plant a children’s garden at your school or youth organization this coming year and watch your children grow – and with them, a better world for all of us to live in!

It starts right here!
